Tune into One News this Sunday evening at the end of the news to see an interview with this weeks “Good Sort”, Gareth from AED Locations NZ, a friend of CIDG’s and the founder of the AED Locations NZ app and website.
AED Locations is a community-orientated volunteer project designed to make people aware of how many AEDs (automated external defibrillators) there are in New Zealand.
AED Locations aims to increase awareness by offering a website and application for your phone, where individuals can locate the defibrillators in their local area, and by providing signage for display at these sites. This application allows you to have these life saving locations available on your phone wherever you go.
Check out AED Location’s website www.aedlocations.co.nz and download their free smart phone app to your phone from Itunes or Google Play Store.
Thanks Gareth, we think you’re a “Good Sort” ourselves.
